Send Magnet Links to put.io From iPhone

put.io is one of the most popular cloud downloaders for handling magnet links remotely. The catch on iPhone is that iOS does not open magnet links natively, so getting from a Safari magnet link to a put.io transfer normally takes copying, switching apps, navigating to the add page, and pasting.
Magnet Linker turns that into one tap.
What you need
- A put.io account
- Magnet Linker installed on your iPhone or iPad
- Magnet Linker Pro (the automation feature is Pro only)
One-time setup
- Open Magnet Linker.
- Go to Settings, then Run Action After Copying.
- Pick put.io from the suggested services. If you prefer to set it manually, choose Custom URL and enter
https://put.io/add. - Tap Test to confirm put.io opens correctly.
The one-tap workflow
Once configured:
- Tap any magnet link in Safari, Reddit, Telegram, or another app.
- Magnet Linker opens, copies the link, and immediately opens put.io.
- Paste into the add transfer field. Done.
If you have stored your put.io login in iCloud Keychain or your password manager, the only manual step left is paste and confirm.
Tips
- Stay signed in to put.io in Safari so the add page loads instantly.
- Magnet Linker keeps a history of every link, so if put.io fails to add a transfer, the link is still recoverable in the app.
- Use a Shortcut instead of the direct URL if you want to call the put.io API directly with your access token.
